Well if your lucky enough to take that bass fishing trip to Mexico, here are some of the most productive bass fishing spots in the country.
Most lakes in Mexico can and do produce 10+ pound largemouth bass on any given cast, though there are some lakes in Mexico that seem to produce above the rest. A few of those lakes are Huites, Comedero and El Salto.
On the west coast of Mexico there are four lakes that are notorious for giving up huge bass year round, those lakes are Comedero, Baccarac, Huites and Agua Milpa. Anyone considering a bass fishing trip to Mexico should seriously consider one of these hot Mexico bass fishing lakes as primary destination! The bass fishing in these lakes is just outstanding!
One of Mexico’s hottest bass fishing lakes is Lake El Salto, this lake gives up more double digit largemouth bass than any other body of water in the world! Lake El Salto is without a doubt Mexico bass fishing at its best! Located just north of the seaside resort town of Mazatlan, Mexico, El Salto covers an area of about 22,000 acres. There are 10+ pound bass being caught on this lake almost every day!
Lake Baccarac is also a Mexico fishing hot spot, its first open season was a record one and it continues to get better by the year. Aside from the bass fishing beauty of Lake Baccarac’s natural setting is breath taking. The lake itself is close to 25 miles long and spans a distance of about 5 miles in width. If your going to take a Mexico bass fishing trip, do not over look this bass fishing hot spot!
Lake Comedero is another of Mexico’s record setting big bass lakes. The Comedero lies within the Sierra Madre Mountains just northeast of Mazatlan. Its waters are clear, pure and teaming with huge bass! Catching a 12 to 15 pound bass is not uncommon on these waters.
The east coast of Mexico also harbors some great bass fishing opportunities, Lake Guerrero is a popular hot spot for big Mexican bass, often producing bass in the 10+ pound range. Another hot Mexico bass fishing spot is Lake El Cuchillo. The lake itself is in its infancy, but is producing some very impressive bass. The most attractive aspect of this big bass lake is that it’s a hop skip and a jump across the boarder, making it one of the most accessible Mexico bass fishing lakes.
It really does not matter which lake you fish, as long as you head south, jump that boarder and do some Mexico bass fishing, on one of its awesome big bass lakes. There is n doubt Mexico bass fishing is the best their is, period!
